Negativity, criticism, nay-sayers and rejection are going to show up everywhere. And when it does, we have two choices.
Fall into it and join them, or rise above it.
It’s all about how you show up for yourself; it’s about strengthening that mindset and developing the tools you need so that you’re not triggered by this negativity. So that when you’re around it, or someone says something to you, you don’t just go to auto-pilot mode and react; you’re able to slow the process down, reflect on it and take action based on informed choices.
In this episode, I break down the 3 steps you need to take to really start rising above negativity in your life.
I’m a true believer that all of our choices are a reflection of our self-worth. What is that telling you when you choose to push aside the very things that can set you free, generate time, energy, freedom, peace, and happiness in your life?
When instead of doing the hard work and charging forward, you are paralyzed by the internal dialogue saying “I’ll start tomorrow”, “maybe next week”, “maybe once things slow down”, “maybe once the kids are out of the house”. The excuses keep flowing and you push yourself farther and farther from your goals; farther from the life you truly desire to be living.
In this episode, let’s dig into every part of your life and see where you’re being held back; we only have one life. When is enough going to be enough? Because if not now, when?
A question I get asked a lot from leaders: Charlotte, how do I make my team more productive? How do I get them more committed to the business and my vision? How do I level up my success?
Without knowing the ins and outs of the business, the history, the culture and what’s currently going on, it’s difficult to give a blank statement answer to that question. There are so many different layers that need to integrate to get a team to operate at that level. But the common thread is this: it starts at the top. It starts with the leader.
In this episode, I start to really dissect what a high performance team looks like and what the first step is in achieving that level within your business or organization.
I think it’s safe to say that no one wakes up wanting to feel bitter, resentful and angry. We want to feel great, we want to be happy, and positive, and have those great, fulfilling days.
But yet somehow, we continue to get sucked into those negative thoughts. Because those negative thoughts are extremely powerful emotions. Once you start to fall into it, it consumes you.
The power of those emotions really changes how you see things, how you act and what you believe. It’s like a dark hole that you get sucked into.
And the worst part is that once you’re in it, it’s really hard to get yourself out. It almost takes on a life of it’s own; we start operating from a place that is beyond ourselves and it really takes over if we allow it.
So - how do we get out of this bitterness and anger trap? And how can we strengthen our mindset to prevent us from falling into it time and time again?
Listen in to this episode and I’ll break it all down for you.
Aren’t those happy people so annoying?
Well, if you’re in a negative place...then yes, I guess they would be.
But you know what’s actually annoying?
The people who fail to take ownership over the energy that they give out to the world. The people who enter situations and interactions and conversations with negative energy, with gossip, with talking badly about other people, with complaining and anger. That’s the energy that they put out into the world?
We are all entitled to feel the way we feel...and to act the way we want to act. But in my opinion, that’s complete bullshit.
The world needs us to start taking accountability for that energy; to be more responsible with how we want to show up for other people.
I’m not saying bad things don’t ever happen.
I’m not saying you can’t feel angry or speak your mind if you need to complain about something.
What I’m saying is this: happiness...true, authentic happiness, is not a result of our circumstances. It’s a choice that we make every single damn day.
In this episode, I dive into happiness; why it’s so important to take ownership over how you show up, how you can bounce back quickly when shitty things do happen, and how you can shift your mindset towards a life full of more happiness.
He has a remarkable story; and truly one that we can all learn something from. You will leave this Podcast feeling a little differently.
About how you are in your relationships - past and current.
About the kind of role model you are being for the people in your life, whether that’s your spouse, your family, your children or the community.
About how you persevere through the struggles.
And about the clarity of vision that you really have for your life.
How did he retire….yes, retire, at the age of 29?
How did he lose almost 100lbs in 6 months, after struggling for years with his weight?
What is his biggest driving force, his greatest motivator, in life?
Charly shares all of that AND shares his the 5 P’s that he’s built his life around and what he shares with the people he serves: Purpose, passion, positivity, productivity and profitable.
Why is it that some people can get knocked down, and have terrible things thrown their way...yet they still have this amazing ability to be positive and joyous and view those situations as experiences to learn from? Whereas another person could go through those same situations and for them, they feel as if their life is over and everything is terrible.
It’s because the first person has strengthened that mindset. They’ve done the work and they’ve taken ownership over their life, their happiness and how they want to show up.
When you work through that and you build that strong mindset, then you’re able to move yourself out of those bad situations more quickly. You’re more peaceful, more joyous and you’re producing more results in your life.

Courage + Action = life changes.
We know when we’re playing small and not living into our best selves.
We know when we are not acting as our boldest self, our most courageous and integral selves.
Sometimes we have to make hard choices. And those choices, and the consequences that often follow, can sting like F*#K.
But you guys...it’s so important to find that courage, take that action and most importantly, HONOR those choices that you make in your life.
In this episode, we’ll dig into this some more - why action and courage are so important, how you can honor yourself and your choices and why the this all matters so much in the first place.
Let’s talk about Control - Because we really have it back ass backwards when it comes to control.
Are you the kind of person that falls into a trap of control? Where you feel like you need to control everything? Where you’re really tightly wound up and when things don’t go according to plan, your life becomes very disordered? When you lose that control, it changes your mood and your behaviours? Do you feel those physical symptoms come up when you feel out of control?
Let's talk about HEALTHY control and how to OWN your control. Because control can be such a beautiful tool in the toolbox but you need to know how to use it in a healthy way.
Is your WORK causing a negative ripple effect into the most important relationships in your life?

In this episode Coach Tim shares his successes, but also the determination, the drive and the perseverance that it took to get there. From a young age, Tim took the mindset of “I’m not only going to learn this, but I’m going to perfect this and become the best at this”. He wanted to be the best not from a place of ego, but from a place of wanting to serve and help others in the best way possible. And that mindset is what has brought him such tremendous success and accomplishments in his life.
This interview goes way beyond the sports performance, the struggles and how Tim overcame them to achieve the level of success that he has.
This is one of my favorite interviews that I’ve done because I am all about seeing and sharing men showing up differently in life. That’s what I love so much about this story and this interview; you see Tim interact with his kids, it’s real and it’s raw. I see this shift happening with men and women where women are finding their voice and becoming stronger and more confident, while men are becoming more vulnerable and sharing from a different place.
Tim embodies that shift. Yes, he’s a “guys-guy”; a sports performance coach who works with the top 1% of athletes in the world. But he also shows vulnerability, connection and passion. His two boys, Ryder and Zane, are his greatest accomplishments and you can see the love and connection among them when they make a special guest appearance in the interview.

Let’s make the holiday season different this year.
Levelled up. More peaceful. More joyous.
More about the human spirit and less about the overwhelm, the expectations, the consumption, and the need to please.
Join me on this episode and let’s make this the best holiday season you’ve ever had.
When I say this man has an incredible story...I am putting it mildly. To say that he had a difficult childhood…would be an understatement.
To have faced the hardships that he did….and the difficulties that he endured...and to have gone through things at a young age that no person should ever have to experience in their entire lives...
To be now living his life as a tremendously successful, confident, happy man who is truly living into his passion and his purpose each and every day → is remarkable. His life has seen his share of ups and downs, but through it all he was always determined to be great.

Why do we get so WEIRD with money?
Money is such a sticky subject. And it makes people so uncomfortable to talk about. Frankly, talking about money just makes people act weird.
And it’s because, as a whole, we have a weird relationship with money.
We are afraid to set goals that include a financial aspect, or we don’t want to talk about it for risk of sounding superficial or braggart or we don’t want to put ourselves in a “less than/more than” situation with people.
Let's dive into WHY we get so weird with money and how we can start to move forward. Spoiler alert → how you feel about money is tied to your mindset and how you feel about your own self worth. Yup, we are going there :)

Let's look at a major barrier that’s preventing you from reaching that next level of success - the F word.
Our mind is a powerful thing. It is programmed to protect us.
It protects us from what we’ve gone through in the past, our own insecurities, our past experiences, physical pain and being vulnerable. Fear is a survival mechanism - that’s the good part.
The problem is that our brain doesn’t know the difference between REAL danger and us just playing small. All it knows is fear. And that tells us not to do things.
Do you have fears that are coming up for you? The fear of failure? Of rejection? Of putting yourself out there? Of ridicule? Of losing all your money and resources?
In this podcast episode, I walk you through the steps to overcome this fear so that you are finally able to level up and achieve the things you want in life.
Your decisions are costing you more than you think.
And I’m not just talking about money.
I recently got home from a trip to California where I was immersed in personal development, conferences, learning, growth and connections for 10 days. It was nothing short of incredible and the things I have gained are invaluable.
But if I said it wasn’t a financial strain to travel to another country for 10 days, I’d be lying.
If I made decisions based out of emotions, based out of fear, or based on nothing more than the short term benefit/loss analysis - then I may not have invested in going on this trip.
But I know better. I know better for myself and for my business.
Let’s get real and talk about the real cost when making decisions in our lives. And what does it cost to NOT make certain decisions?
New on this episode - we dive into this topic. And I’ll walk you through the process I go through when I’m making decisions for myself.
